Enterprising restauranteurs are seizing on the ‘smaller portions’ trend.

 

Obviously, they can sell smaller portions and still make the same profit (or more.)

 

“But wait!” you object.

 

“If the portion is smaller, shouldn’t it be cheaper?”

 

Not likely.

 

The whole economic system, as we learned in Economics 101 in high school, is based on profit.
