Hi mARToons fan!

Lots of folks visit Vancouver, but how many actually travel specifically to visit its neighboring borough Surrey?

It is a fascinating place.

I arrived by ferry at Tsawwassen terminal, and took 3 buses to my destintation in Surrey.

The ferry only cost $17.45 and the three buses total cost $3! What a deal.

And the scenery was a real eye-opener: You pass through the “delta” area where you will see the most massive greenhouses ever – they go on for blocks.

This and the surrounding farms is where things are grown – and let’s hope it stays this way (enough with the condos!).

And then when you arrive in the city of Surrey (incidentally, one of the biggest municipalities in the world – look it, up if you don’t believe me) you will suddenly be amidst one of the most diverse populations around. In fact, there were so few “white” people that we stuck out like a sore thumb.

I highly recommend this sightseeing tour.

You will see so many things that you wouldn’t normally see.
