Hi mARToons fan!
An early mARToon, but still relevant.
In fact, only recently I was in a Superstore in Saskatoon and an impoverished-looking man (judging from his appearance only) was entering the store, and pretty much everyone in the vicinity – maybe half a dozen other shoppers – began and continued to stare at the guy.
But, to his credit, he didn’t flinch.
Likely hardened to the whole ostracizing dynamic after all these years.
And, anyway, why stare at a person simply because they are poor?
His money is exactly the same as everyone else’s.
When he’s in that store spending it, he’s on the same footing as all the rest of us.
