Martoons

Hi Martoons fan! Usually martoons doesn’t wade into politics however, here in BC, in the small town of Ladysmith, even folks here were paying attention. After a few folks commented to me that Danielle Smith was a bit of a “nut”, a cartoon was born. One thing that baffled me in the televised debate near the end, was how the NDP’s candidate Rachel Notley seemed to avoid the elephant in the room – Danielle Smith’s apparent strong preference for conspiracy theories. That appeared to be out of sight and out of mind, though, and the voters made their choice. What’s that old saying – people get the type of government they vote for.
