Hi traveler! Personal anecdote – while in New Zealand one fall afternoon looking for a book or two, I got to talking with an elderly lady who had just returned after 27 years in Bangladesh. She’d been working with the poorest people on earth. She mastered the language and became part of the community. And regarding those very poor people, she said they were the kindest, dearest people she had ever met. She didn’t even want to come back to New Zealand.
