Hi mARToons fan!

The truth behind this cartoon is a little different from the depiction. The elderly man in question actually loves sitting in the sun when he’s in the lounge, and gets bummed right out when it’s dull outside. His sunny lounging is simply the latest and perhaps final chapter of his entire life of sun-seeking. He told stories in the lounge of his surfing days, and swimming all day long at Timaru (New Zealand south island east coast) driving his girlfriend crazy because he was always out in the water. Yet who knows if he looks back on those days? Undoubtedly, he just loves the sun whether he’s on a beach or in the sterile lounge of the rest home.
