Hi mARToons fan!

This cartoon is a true story – I saw a layout like this in Dunedin, New Zealand when I went swimming there a few months back.

Oddly enough, there WAS a healthy food kiosk in another pool I went to a some years ago, perhaps 2013.

When I went to buy an apple and compliment the lady who worked there for stocking so much healthy stuff, she told me they were shutting down soon (“nobody buys this stuff”).

Hopefully times have changed since then and if the idea was tried again, it would catch on.

Vending machine treats just don’t do it for me or – I would venture to suggest – most fitness fanatics.
