Hi mARToons fan!

…And it’s not just celebrities who play this kind of deception with their image.

A few years back I was a security guard in a college in Prince George, BC and one of my fellow guards was pushed and shoved by an unwelcome visitor to the site.

The visitor was known to have some “visual disability” but never seemed to demonstrate any vision problems.

The visitor was called to a meeting of college higher-ups to discuss the pushing and shoving he perpetrated against the security guard.

Get this – so the visitor shows up to the meeting with a white cane and big black sunglasses, acting out the full “I’m practically blind” routine.

In other words, I’m disabled, I’m weak, have sympathy on me.

Pathetic isn’t it? But folks like this wouldn’t keep doing it unless it worked.

So, what happened with the unwelcome visitor? He was told to stay off the college property. Yet a week or so later, he was back – without the white cane and Ray Charles sunglasses.
