MT#886 Covid-19 Gallery by mARTy West & Sam Bush
Hi mARToons fan!
Now that Covid-19 has been around for a few weeks, it’s time to start getting creative.
Sure, closing down shops is a good first step.
But why not open your store where feasible but use different guidelines.
For example, take appointments (like some private art galleries do) and let people in one customer at a time.
When the customer leaves, give the place a wipe down where necessary.
The store owner could also ask the shopper to mask and glove up.
It seems “lazy thinking” to simply close almost everything lock stock and barrel.
In times like these, there are inconveniences and you have to go a lot slower and more carefully.
You have to be patient, wash hands more, and if you might have to work a little harder.
For example, keeping the above in mind, I’d like to see the library open up. Even limited hours would be good.
