Signs are always a fascinating subject for photos.

Any city, any country … anywhere.

Signs change with the times but many signs last longer than the era when they were erected, and that can add to their level of interest.

That’s why a budding photographer will take their camera wherever they go – you never know when a very eye-catching sign will pop out at you.

One of the golden eras for signs was the neon era of the fifties and sixties.
