Howdy martoons fan! A crucial source of valuable information while we are traveling has been redefined … other travelers used to naturally gravitate towards each other and exchange information, tips, etc. For example, in a guesthouse one evening in 1995, I was contemplating traveling in the previously perilous Cambodia. In walked a couple of travelers who had just been there. “Is it safe?” I asked. It was so I went. And it was great.

It’s a lot harder to get that information these days. Most travelers are constantly glued to screens. You can still get info but it’s harder. Anyway, however you do it, do your research and travel.
