Hi mARToons fan!

This hilarious cartoon is from January 2018 mARToons.

The top frame portrays the sort of thing my mom used to say to me when I wouldn’t eat one of her wonderful culinary creations.

That was likely because I’d either been secretly snacking, or sitting in front of the TV not doing any activity and not working up an appetite.

The bottom frame is, of course, relevant now.

See also yesterday’s mARToon about portion sizes.

As the years go by we see that we as a society are doing the opposite of what we or our ancestors used to do.

Consumer society tends to go around in circles.

The mini skirt is in.

Then the mini skirt is out.

Then it’s back in again.
