Martoons

Hi martoons fan!

There are so many signs out there that go on and on. They make me laugh and I go through the little mental exercise of, “How could I redo that sign in way fewer words?” It’s a hilarious exercise so try it some time. It seems that signs are afraid to say what they really want to say, sort of like us in our society. Sometimes being blunt is the best and quickest way to get the job done. Getting our feelings hurt can happen, however I find that whole experience to be refreshing and cleansing. I prefer a sign that gets down to business and tells me straight out what to do.

Today’s cartoon was marty west’s idea and tia’s sketch. It is from 2018 but, as with many martoons, is still relevant today, if not more so.

And still hilarious.
