Hi mARToons fan!

 

Funny how paper cups (and take-out bags, boxes, plastic cutlery, etc.) started as a convenience, but the norm was real cups and dishes. They basically stayed at home and you washed them.

 

But then take-out became the norm and we got buried in trash.

 

Here’s one thing I really don’t get: If you go to (say) Wendy’s, you’re not even taking out but they still bury you in trash. When you’re done your meal, you tramp over to the bin (usually overflowing) and squish another whole tray of bags, cups, etc. into it. Shameful.

 

When will the madness stop?
