Hello mARToons fan – from New Zealand!

New Zealand is no longer immune to all the other social rubbish that Canada, USA and Europe has. The other day an ‘extreme right’ ‘white supremacist’ group made ‘death threats’ against a prominent politician here in New Zealand. Of course, the media here was all over it. But why? What’s so newsworthy about hate? Why is ‘hate’ news? As a point of view, ‘hate’ seems a very stupid stance to take. Is not hate just an emotion? ‘Hate’ is only a feeling. The media gobbles up stupidity these days, and their consuming public continues to provide an audience for it.
