Martoons

Hello clickmARToons fan! Take a look around you and you will

see art everywhere. Especially, these days, graphic art. It seems

folks are tiring of photos on ads and billboards because

photos are in such huge supply these days and so easy to take

that their “currency value” is low. But graphic art NEEDS an

artist. On the way over to this computer centre to type this

opinion piece, I saw – coming out of the U Sask art

department – two artist students, easily identifiable because of

those large portfolio carrying cases they have. Hooray for

artists! Making our visual urban life so much more exciting,

and in the case of mARToons  … hilarious!
