Today’s cartoon should make you laugh!

 

On another topic, I’ve got a concern about queues when you call government or other big bureaucracies.

 

I called an auto insurer the other day (SGI = Saskatchewan Government Insurance) and got a recording: “Your estimated waiting time is 28 minutes.”

 

So I hung up the phone.

 

Who would expect anyone to wait that long?

 

Especially with a limited phone plan.

 

RBC bank used to tell you the wait time and then CALL YOU BACK!

 

But they cheaped out about two years ago and ceased that service.

 

So what it all means is with that kind of wait (anything over 2-3 minutes in my mind) they are basically not available so they really have no reception.

 

And that is unacceptable. I even have a suggested solution: Add more staff or do the WE WILL CALL YOU BACK thing that RBC used to do.
